JCW Floor Screeding have recently completed the installation of floor screeding at A NEW McDonald’s, Southwark.
Passengers of London Bridge Station hadn’t been able to buy a Big Mac, McMuffin or chicken nuggets since 2016 when Guy’s Hospital was shut down and replaced with the Science Gallery London. But 3 years later, McDonald’s takeaway restaurant returned to London Bridge Station on Tooley Street.
McDonald’s restaurants serve 68 million people, worldwide, every day – and the London Bridge branch is ideally located for rail passengers and commuters. McDonald’s in Southwark is a fast-paced environment that generates great volumes of foot traffic, and floor screed made sure the floor was smooth and level.
JCW used 120m² of 70mm Truscreed 5 and bagged fibres, 100mm EPS70 Polystyrene, 1200g Polythene 1T bagged screed, supplied by Tarmac Building Products, for McDonald’s, London Bridge Train Station.
