JCW installed floor screed at popular Merlin Entertainments Group, Alton Towers, near Alton in Staffordshire, as part of an expansion project in 2018/19.
Tucked away in a cosy corner of the resort, you’ll find the Enchanted Village – comprising 120 wooden lodges and 5 secluded treehouses – allowing for a truly magical stay. As well as hours of endless entertainment for children, and somewhere for parents to sit back and relax, the Alton Towers Enchanted Village also includes ‘The Crooked Spoon’, a family-friendly restaurant that caters for every dietary requirement.
To make the resort easily accessible for families with youngsters, we applied screed at the Enchanted Village – creating a smooth even surface in areas of heavy foot traffic.
We installed floor screed to great effect at Alton Towers’ Enchanted Village, using 200m² of 75mm pumped Truscreed and fibres and SBR polymer grout – loose tipped and supplied by Tarmac Building Products.
